Week-5

SEARCH STRATEGIES 

          In week 5 we learned about strategies to search a word or a thing.That is in short we got to know which cases we should use keywords,subject headings, phrases and single words.Single words are main points to learn in search strategies basic.

• Keywords- These usually gives us more resources,a broader search

• Subject Headings- A standardized vocabulary,usually gives a specific resources

Boolean Searching

         This refers to the combining terms such as AND,OR and NOT used in building a search statement or in putting several sets together.Found by George Boole(1815-1864)

 This is the way of displaying the results for OR,NOT and AND
